Jhale Jhole Ombale is excited to partner with Epic Actors' Workshop - US for the  19th Annual South Asian Theater Festival to present Shambo, a story of penance and self discovery . Shambo, an entitled son of a politician, goes through a journey to find himself and parallels the story of the once arrogant son of Lord Krishna in the mythological world, to find honor and their way in the world.

Faced with themonumental task of saving his family'srestaurant, Shambo must navigate thecomplexities of life, love, and heritage.Unfolding in seven scenes, Shambo's story is amasterful blend of contemporary strugglesand ancient myth. As he faces his own trials,Shambo's journey echoes that of his mythological namesake, the son of LordKrishna, who triumphed over adversity with unwavering faith and determination.
