The Choreosonic Journey of Ganga & Mississippi
An original musical dance drama where two mighty rivers - Ganga and Mississippi - become voices of memory, loss, and rebirth.
With a soul-stirring score by Sandip Mitra, weaving Indian ragas with Western harmonies, the production blends poetry, dance, and storytelling into a tapestry of tradition and experimentation. Every scene flows from scratch - script, music, choreography, and verse - bringing the rivers to life as mothers, witnesses, and keepers of human history.
From sacred chants and blues laments to the cries of battle and the silence of partition, the rivers carry stories of devotion, suffering, and hope. In their rhythms, the audience discovers not only the sorrow of forgetting but also the possibility of renewal.
A Tale of Two Rivers is more than a performance; it is an invitation to listen to water, to memory, and to ourselves.

A Jhale Jhole Ombole Production An Indian adaptation of Lois Lowry’s timeless classic The Giver, this play explores memory, control, and the price of a pain-free world. In a society where emotions and choices are suppressed for the sake of harmony, one boy is chosen as the “Receiver of Memory.” Guided by the Giver, he discovers the forbidden beauty of joy, sorrow, love, and loss - emotions that his community has long forgotten. As the weight of human experience unfolds before him, he begins to question the very foundation of the world he lives in. With every memory comes the burden of choice, and the realization that true freedom cannot exist without pain. Blending universal themes with an Indian lens, the play reflects on what it truly means to be human, and challenges us to ask: Is safety worth the sacrifice of our soul? Kids’ drama Gopal Ginni‑r Googly (Fun. Wisdom. Bengali Tradition). In this laugh-out-loud tale, the witty Gopal Bhar and his wife embark on adventures full of mischief, morals, and magic. Inspired by Bengali folk stories, the original script mixes brave queens, bumbling dacoits, and timeless life lessons—proving that tradition and fun can go hand in hand.
Gopal Ginni-r Googley is a delightful retelling of the witty adventures of Gopal Bhar, the legendary court jester of Raja Krishnachandra’s court in Krishnanagar. Known for his unmatched cleverness and
humor, Gopal often used his sharp mind and quick wit to expose greed, protect the innocent, and bring laughter to all around him.
In this story, Gopal’s world extends beyond the royal court into his own home, where playful debates with his wife Parbati reveal that wisdom and courage are not his alone. Together, the duo faces challenges that test not only Gopal’s intelligence but also Parbati’s bravery.
As intrigues unfold in the royal court, with scheming ministers, loyal soldiers, eccentric scientists, and poetic courtiers, the kingdom is suddenly threatened by the menace of dacoits who dare to abduct the Queen. At this critical moment, will Parbati’s bravery or Gopal’s clever strategies save the kingdom?
Filled with humor, folk wisdom, satire, and suspense, Gopal Ginni-r Googley is a celebration of Bengali storytelling tradition, where wit conquers might, ordinary people rise to extraordinary deeds, and laughter lights up even the darkest hour.
